The Arabic language plays a very important role in the Islamic world. It is the language of the Qur-aan and the hadeeth. Most of the great works written by renowned scholars of the past such as Imaam al-Bukhaaree and Imaam ash-Shaafi'ee were written in Arabic. Unlike Hebrew or Latin, Arabic is a living language. It is the third most widely spoken language in the world today. It remains the most important language in the Middle East and Northern Africa.
We are pleased to introduce a unique learning program for students who want to learn and master the Arabic language. After two or three years of study (depending on the number of classes per week), our students will be able to sit for the Arabic as a foreign language IGSCE 'O' Levels examinations. They will be able to read and understand about 70 percent of the Holy Qur-aan in its original language, inshaa Allaah.
Unlike many programs that focus on conversational Arabic, our learning program puts emphasis on the language spoken by Rasoolullaah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and his sahaabahs. Our structured and systematic teaching method gives a clear direction to learning. Progress comes from understanding rather than memorising alone.
